Your face shape is the reason one haircut frames you and another drags your face down, why some frames sit right and others look borrowed, and why a hat that suits your friend swamps you. It comes down to a few proportions: how wide your forehead, cheekbones and jaw are, and how long your face is compared with its width. They are hard to judge in a mirror, where you see what you expect to see. The face shape detector measures them on a photo and names the shape: oval, round, square, heart, oblong or diamond.

Upload one clear, front-facing selfie. The AI looks at your face the way a stylist would, compares the widths with the length, and tells you your face shape in seconds. You don't need an account for it, and we don't keep the photo: it is analyzed, not stored.

Knowing your shape is the start. In the same pass, the AI picks the one haircut, pair of glasses, hat and pair of earrings from our catalog that would flatter your face most. Each pick stays sealed until you unlock it: unlocking shows it on your own selfie, from the front, side and back. Or skip the picks and try on any look yourself with the tool below.

The six face shapes

oval
A little longer than it is wide, with a jaw slightly narrower than the forehead and softly rounded lines. The most balanced shape: almost every style works on it.
round
About as wide as it is long, with full cheeks, a soft jawline and the widest point at the cheekbones. Height and angles add length.
square
Forehead, cheekbones and jaw about equally wide, with a strong, angular jawline. Soft curves balance the corners.
heart-shaped
A wide forehead and cheekbones tapering to a narrow, sometimes pointed chin. Width low on the face balances it.
oblong
Clearly longer than it is wide, with forehead, cheekbones and jaw of similar width. Width at the sides shortens it.
diamond
A narrow forehead and jaw with wide, high cheekbones, the widest point in the middle of the face. Width at the brow and chin balances it.

FAQ

How does the face shape detector work?

You upload a front-facing selfie. An AI vision model compares the width of your forehead, cheekbones and jaw with the length of your face and names the shape that fits best: oval, round, square, heart, oblong or diamond. It reads proportions, not your features, and takes a few seconds.

Is it free?

Yes. Your face shape is free and needs no account. The style the AI picks for your face in each category is sealed; unlocking one shows it on your selfie as a try-on for one credit, once you have bought credits.

What photo works best?

Look straight into the camera with your whole face in the frame, hair pulled back from your face if you can, no glasses or hat, in even light. A tilted head or a wide-angle phone lens held close distorts the proportions.

Do you keep my photo?

No. The photo is sent to the AI for the analysis and not stored. Only if you create an account and unlock a look is your selfie saved in your private Suite, until you delete it.

What if my face is between two shapes?

Most faces are. The detector names the shape your proportions are closest to, and that is the one the style rules work from. If two shapes seem to fit, the advice for both usually overlaps.
